PlayStation Move Controller is my best peripheral when it comes to Just Dance for PS4. When it comes to accuracy, PlayStation Move Controller is the most reliable option among the three Peripherals. 

It is fast and doesn't need a setup whatsoever, All you have to do is synchronize the PlayStation move Controller by connecting a USB cable from your PS4 console to the PlayStation Move Controller and press the PS button and you are good to go.

Just Dance Controller App

The Just Dance controller app on the your smartphone is my second favorite peripheral when it comes to Just Dance for PS4. 

You will find this app on either App Store on your Apple device or Google Play Store on your Android device.

The Just dance controller app on your smart phone is the most convenience way you can play Just Dance on your PS4. 

If you don't have any of the peripherals listed in this article as almost everyone has a smartphone. Although it is not as accurate as the PS4 move controllers it has its advantages and disadvantages. 

Below are the advantages and disadvantages of the Just dance controller app:

Advantages
  • It is easy to use.
  • It is easy to set up.
  • It is readily available.

Disadvantages

  • The phone can disconnect cause it's network based.
  • Doesn't actually link directly to the console, this makes it to be slow sometimes
  • It lags if there is loss in connection.

How to Setup Just Dance Controller App on PS4

You might be wondering how to setup the Just Dance Controller app to make it connect to your console since the console won't sync with smartphones as it does with the PlayStation move controller or the Dual shock 4 controller. 

Well it is very simple simple, all you have to do is to connect to the same Wi-Fi network on both your PS4 console and your smart phone. 

This will allow the PS4 console and your smartphone to communicate through Wi-Fi, just follow the on screen instructions on your smartphone.

Note: You must launch the Just Dance Game on your PS4 and choose Mobile Device as your scoring method, this way the console will search for your phone on the Wi-Fi network. Insure the Just Dance Controller App is open on your Smartphone.

PlayStation Camera

When it comes to Just Dance on PS4, The PlayStation Camera is the least peripheral I would suggest you to use. 

It does work well with special setup which is time consuming you will have to look at lighting, back ground furniture, space, shadows etc. 

This is just inconveniencing, well if you have a lot time or its the only peripheral you have for Just Dance I will guide you on how to set it up for best experience


How to Set up PlayStation Camera For Just Dance

For starters you will have to connect the PS Camera Cable to the AUX port on the back of your PS4. If the PS4 doesn't recognize your camera Just restart your Ps4 Console. I will write in point form so that you can understand very well on how to setup the PS Camera
  • You will want to put the PS Camera on a level surface and Approximately 5ft high for it to see your whole body.
  • Make sure the Lighting in the room is spread so that there are no shadows as shadows will be detected as players. Avoid light coming into the Camera.
  • Insure that you do not have back furniture ground as they will be recognized as a players or part of your body. The Camera is designed as more of a webcam rather than a motion sensor without real tracking technology, so sometimes it will not track you, or think your couch or door/furniture behind you is a part of your body.
  • Make sure you create enough space so that the camera can see your whole body.

Conclusion 

As far as accuracy is Concerned the order goes as listed above, from PS move controller to Just Dance App on Smartphone to PS camera. As for me I barely use the camera as it has no real tracking technology and sometime furniture will score better you.

Note: You don't need all three simultaneously you can just choose one to play with.
